This week on Inspired Edinburgh we have Corinne Hutton.
Known fondly as Scotland’s ‘bionic mum’, Corinne is an author, TEDx and motivational speaker, and Founder of Finding Your Feet, a charity that supports families affected by amputation or limb difference through a range of sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects.
In June 2013 after suffering acute pneumonia and septicemia, surgeons were forced to amputate both her hands and her legs below the knee.
Since then she has set three world records, learned to fly a plane, abseiled off a multi story building and carried the baton for the Commonwealth Games. She was the poster girl for the NHS organ donor campaign and has she received numerous awards including the Great Scot Award, the Freedom of Renfrewshire bestowed by Lord Provost and a Points of Light award from Prime Minister David Cameron for her outstanding charitable work. She was also a finalist for the Scottish Woman of The Year award 2016 and she was awarded an honorary Doctorate from the West of Scotland University.

This week on Inspired Edinburgh we have Kevin McMahon.
Kevin, better known by stage name Kevin Quantum, is a magician-scientist hybrid.
In 2005 he paused his Physics PhD to take part in the Channel 4 television programme 'Faking It’, which showed his journey from scientist to professional magician and was watched by more than 6 million people.
He is a member of The Magic Circle, Founder of Magicfest, has had 5-star sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, appeared in BBC documentaries, consulted for the National Theatre of Scotland, broke a Guinness World Record, was the first magician to perform at the Globe Theatre in London and was nominated for the Scottish Comedy Awards 2014 and 2015.
He's also one of the very few people that counts quantum physics as a hobby!

This week on Inspired Edinburgh we have Rob MacGillivray.
Rob is a Senior Humanitarian Advisor with Save The Children.
Described by colleagues as a “Humanitarian Warrior,” Rob has been an aid worker for over 30 years. Based in Ardrossan but deployed globally, he has led the charity’s response on Ebola in Sierra Leone, was the first on the ground organising the aid effort in Iraq, and most recently, initiated and led the team’s search and rescue response in the Mediterranean.
He made it his mission to save as many refugees lives as possible and the search and rescue ship 'Vos Hestia' has rescued nearly 10,000 to date – an incredible achievement.

Jamie, also known as The Grief Preacher, is a TEDx, motivational, and inspirational speaker.
On 14th April 2012, at the age of 19, his beloved nephew Connor Saunders lost his life to a single punch. Jamie since founded 'Connor's Helping Hand’, an organisation through which he delivers workshops and talks at schools, universities, business exhibitions, networking events, young offender institutions and prisons, raising awareness of one punch murder in order educate others on the devastation it brings, and to prevent it from affecting as many families as possible.

Our guest this week is C. Wilson Meloncelli.
Wilson is a Flow State Performance Coach, Stunt Performer, Author and former British Champion in Mixed Martial Arts.
He teaches and speaks on the subject of the Flow State, an optimal state of consciousness where people feel and perform their best, and has become one of the world's front runners in the field of flow.
He has over 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry and is an instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Silat, Muay Thai, Grappling and Brazilian Jujitsu.
He's also a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, an Ireca Energy Practitioner, as well as a stunt performer with skills in Gymnastics, Tramploining, Rock Climbing, Horse Riding and setting himself on fire!

Selby is the co-founder of Helping Hands Promotions, a promotional marketing business that puts social and environmental responsibilities first. Our latest guest is Jojo Sutherland.
Jojo is a comedian, actor, writer, speaker and Founder of Gagtraders and Stand Up And Be Counted.
Jojo performs in comedy clubs worldwide where she is in demand for both her compere abilities and comedy routines.
She is regularly requested to support other comics on tour including Jenny Éclair, US Comic Louis Ramey, 4 poofs and a piano and Tom Stade and has been a TV Warm up artist for studio-based shows, which have included the BBC1 sitcom The Old Guys and Badults on BBC Three.
She’s a contributor to several publications including online magazine Standard Issue and has her own regular column in MADE magazine called Trust Jojo! In 2012 she co-wrote and performed a 6 part sketch show called “The Gates” which aired on BBC radio Scotland and in 2015 she starred in an online sitcom alongside Daniel Sloss and Tom Stade called M.U.F.F PRODUCTIONS.

This week’s guest is Steven Sharp.
In 2002 at the age of 12, Steven was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel condition Crohn's disease. Since then he's raised in excess of £12k, he’s been named a Community Champion for Crohn's and Collitis UK and he’s had an enormous amount of celebrity support from the likes of boxer Ricky Hatton, football manager Alex Mcleish, wrestler Kurt Angle, actress and model Linda Lusardi and football legend Neil 'Razor' Ruddock.
He's featured on the radio, in magazines, in the press and on television and when he's not raising awareness of IBD, he's Managing amateur football team Eastwood Mearns.
